闽语“舆、“浴”两字阳调h-声母的来源——比较方言中所见的*gl-复辅音

An Etymology for Southern Min h■ "to Give" and Related Matters

（1）龚煌城说明“與”上古汉语＊^glagx〉＊^lagx〉 jwo和藏文gla“工资，报酬，费”同源。“與”在上古的＊^gl-复辅音在北方失落＊^g-而变为＊^l-，到中古变成以母（喻四）j-。在南方，尤其在闽地，＊^gl-〉＊^gj-；然后按照闽语的演变规律，“與”＊^gjagx变成闽南话的h “給予”。（2）以母字在闽语里今读阳调h-/h-声母的还有“浴”字，例如“洗浴”石陂 sai hy ，崇安 sai h u ，埔上 sue hik ，泉州 sue hiak 。“浴”＊^gluk〉＊^luk〉jwok和“谷”＊^kluk〉kuk谐声，和古缅语khluiw“洗澡”同源。跟“與”的＊^gl-一样，“浴”的声母在北方变为＊^l-，再变为以母j-；在闽地变为＊^gj-，然后变为石陂的hy ，泉州的hiak 等。本文用方言的资料说明上古汉语＊^gl-型的复辅音，同时说明在秦汉之际，有些方言还保存着“與”、“浴”的＊^gl-或＊^gj-声母。

It has been proposed that 與,＊^ glagx 〉 ＊^lagx 〉 jwo ＂to give＂ is cognate to Written Tibetan gla ＂pay, wages, fee＂, and .this etymology makes it possible to derive the phonological history of Southern Min h ＂to give＂： ＊^glagx 〉 ＊^gjagx 〉 Proto-Min ＊^gio 〉 Xiamen h . The same phonological change ＊^gl- 〉 ＊^gj- applies to the descendents of the word 浴 ＊^gluk 〉 ＊^luk 〉 jwok ＂to bathe＂ in several Min dailects. For example, 浴 ＊^ gluk 〉 ＊^gjuk 〉 Proto-Min ＊^yok 〉 崇安 h u ;石陂 hy ,泉州 hiak ＂to bathe＂. It is also shown that 浴 Old Chinese ＊^gluk ＂to bathe＂ is cognate to Old Burmese khluiw ＂to bathe＂.
