摘要
虽然四句为一偈之说广见于历代佛教经疏中,但一偈并非皆由四句构成。随着佛教渐然融入中国人的生活之中,"偈"逐渐用来命名具有宗教意味的哲理诗。中土五言诗歌为佛偈的传译提供了形制,而大量五言佛偈的传译也对东晋南朝五言诗创作产生不可忽视的影响,具体表现为:诗歌被偈颂化现象的出现,僧人所作的偈颂似诗,出现了类似诗的翻译偈颂。东晋五言玄言诗佛玄合流了,南朝则出现了较纯粹诠说佛理的佛理诗。
Although the theory of four sentences making up a Gatha was a parlance in the past dynasties in Buddhism classics, but not all the Gathas consist of four sentences. Along with the gradual integration of Buddhism into people's daily life at that time, Gatha became the name of religious poems. The Poems of Five Characters provided the form for Buddhist Gotha in its translation and spread. And the translation and spread of a great number of the Gothas of Five Characters in turn greatly influenced the Poems of Five Characters. Firstly, the poems are similar to the Gotha. Secondly, the Gatha written by Shaman is similar to the poems. Thirdly, the translated Gatha is similar to poems. The Xuan Poems of Five Characters fused with Buddhism in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, and the Buddhist Poems appeared in the Southern Dynasties.
