On the Orientation of College English Teachers' Role and Its Impact on Learners' Autonomous Learning

在自主学习模式下,大学英语教师的角色已经发生了根本性转变,他们是学习者自主学习的促进者、辅导者和资料源,积极倡导自主学习,积极参与学习者的学习活动,并为学习者提供充足的资源;而在教师角色转变的影响下,学习者也会由被动接受知识变为主动学习知识,由对教师的依赖变为主动参与教学活动,深刻认识自主学习的必要性和重要性,自觉承担学习责任,充分发扬团结合作精神,逐步培养自主学习的能力。

Great changes have taken place in the orientation ot cortege English teachers role as a facilitator,coumellor and resource. College English teachers should advocate autonomous learning positively, participate learners＇ learning activities actively and provide sufficient resources to the learners. On this circumstances,learners should transfer themselves from accepting knowledge passively to learning knowledge positively,from dependenting on teachers to participating teaching activities,and then develop the ability of autonomous learning.
