摘要
从马奈1860-1870年的绘画中可以看出,马奈在坚持自身的创作理念的同时,又希望得到沙龙以及公众的肯定与赏识,由此带来绘画观念与态度之间的矛盾以及创作手法的暧昧不明。因此,对于马奈的绘画定位就应该包括两方面的综合考量:既要肯定马奈绘画的进步与创新,又要考虑其妥协的一面。
A review of Manet's works from 1860 to 1870 reveals that, while trying to adhere to his own idea of artistic creation, he seeks public approval and appreciation. This ambivalence leads to the contradiction between his concept of artistic creation and his attitude in actual practice and hence the ambiguity in his means of artistic expression. Therefore, the evaluation of his works should inevitably take into consideration his progressiveness and creativity on the one hand, and his compromise and appeasement on the other.
