摘要
通过对华裔作家谭恩美的成名小说《喜福会》中母女关系主题的探讨,集中展现了华裔第一代移民同其美籍子女之间由于生活环境、文化差异而产生的心理隔膜和情感冲突,以及最终相互理解和相互认同的过程。衍生并讨论了中关文化的碰撞与兼容这一社会历史现实,揭示了血浓于水的骨肉亲情和爱国情结。
Based on the discussion of the famous novel The Joy Luck Club which is written by Chinese- American writer Amy Tan, this paper unfolds the psychological estrangement and emotional conflicts caused by different living backgrounds and cultures between the first generation of Chinese Americans and their children, and their final understandings and agreement. Then the author illustrates the collision and compatibility of Chinese and American cultures and reveals the family love and patriotic feeling.
