冷战期间美国和泰国结为盟友,两国关系以安全和军事合作为主,美国向泰方提供了大量军事和经济援助。20世纪80年代以来两国关系的内容发生变化,经济合作与摩擦成为重要内容之一。
The United Stales and Thailand were allies in Cohl War. The major respect between them was national security and military, cooperation and the U.S. extended to Thailand a great number of military and economic assistance. However, U.S. -Thai relations had changed greatly since the 1980s and cooperation and conflicts in economy became one of the prime problems.
