How to enhance the contrast of the interested part of an image is detectives＇ most common job. With the help of image processing technology, variations of the RGB values in original image can be turned into useful information. Based on the differences of pixel values, the background of fingerprint can be eliminated, and it will be helpful for the Automated Fingerprint Identification.
