明清时期“佛教与《西游记》的关系”研究综述

Overview of the Study on the Relationship between Buddhism and Journey to the West in Ming and Qing Dynasties

佛教与《西游记》的关系一直是研究者争论的主要问题之一。明清时期，大家主要是从文学角度来解读《西游记》，较少受到社会政治思潮的影响，基本上都是从对文本的哲理性思考角度来探讨有关《西游记》各方面的问题。文章分别从佛教与《西游记》本事探源、佛教与《西游记》作者、版本的关系、佛教与《西游记》的主题、《西游记》对佛教传播的影响等几个角度总结了明清时期佛教与《西游记》关系的研究状况。

The relationship between Buddhism and Journey to the West has always been a hot topic discussed by researchers. In Ming and Qing Dynasties, researchers interpreted Journey to the West from the perspective of literature. They were less susceptible to political ideas and focused on philosophical research on the novel. The author overviews these researches from the following perspectives, including Buddhism and the origin of the novel, the relationship between Buddhism and the author as well as the versions of the novel, Buddhism and the theme of the novel, and the influence of the novel on the dissemination of Buddhism.
