摘要
建筑英语属于专门用途英语,是科技英语的一个分支,有其自身比较显著的文体特征。掌握建筑英语的文体特征及相关的翻译方法是建筑专业学生必须掌握的一门重要技能。文章根据文体学的有关理论,结合实例,从不同侧面对建筑英语的文体特征和翻译方法进行研究,旨在以此促进建筑英语翻译教学实践。
With its unique stylistic features architectural English belongs to English for specific purposes and is a branch of scientific and technical English. Mastering stylistic features and relevant translation techniques of architectural English is an important skill for the students majoring in architectural discipline. Based on stylistic theory, the stylistic features and appropriate translation measures of architectural English are studied with examples from different aspects. This aims at improving translation teaching practice of architectural English.
