The Textual Research on Putuoshan Duobao Tower

比照藏传佛塔的艺术风格和建筑特点,通过考查普陀山多宝塔的佛像布局与造型、塔身建筑结构及其寓意,并联系元代历史、艺术、宗教的背景,认为多宝塔应是一座藏传佛塔。它是藏、汉、蒙文化融合的产物,是元代藏传佛塔在汉地发展演变的里程碑。

Comparing Tibetan Buddhism tower with Putuoshan Duohao Tower in terms of pattern, style, structure and symbolic meaning,, referring to the history, arts and religion in Yuan Dynasty, we concluded that Putuoshan Duobao Tower belongs to the Tibetan Buddhism tower, which is the milestone of the development of Tibetan Buddhism tower in Hart residence, and results from the merging of Tibetan, Hart and Mongolian culture.
