摘要
自助游在整个国际旅游市场中占有的份额越来越大,而我国西部地区旅游资源丰富,是自助游旅行者理想的旅游目的地。本文从分析自助游和传统的包价旅游差异入手,讨论了自助游发展对西部地区旅游和经济开发的意义,然后探讨了目前西部地区在发展自助游时,在基础设施和接待设施、信息提供、自驾车设施等方面存在的问题,最后从科学的线路建设和设计、提供有效的信息、建设汽车旅馆、提供特色服务、完善保障系统这几个方面对西部自助游建设提出了建议。
Independent travel and foreign independent tour（FIT） play an increasingly large share of the tourism market. Western regions of China is rich in tourism resources, so these regions are ideal tourist destinations for independent travel and FIT. Based on the analysis of the differences between package tour and FIT, the significance of FIT industry was discussed and the problems in infrastructure, reception facility, tourism information and drive travel in western regions were studied. Finally, in order to promote the FIT growth in western regions, some suggestions on motel development, special service, support system and so on were put forward.
