On the Socialist Concept of Honor and Disgrace ＆ the Ideological and Political Education Among College Students

胡锦涛总书记提出的以“八荣八耻”为主要内容的社会主义荣辱观,是新时期社会公民道德建设的最基本要求。切实将社会主义荣辱观教育作为思想政治教育的主线是新时期做好高校思想政治教育工作的重要基石。加强社会主义荣辱观教育,完善和改进大学生思想政治教育,就要不断创新思想政治教育的工作模式,积极探索思想政治教育的有效途径。

The ＂Eight Honors and Eight Disgraces＂ by president HU Jin-tao is the socialist concept which forms the fundamental principle of the ethic construction of citizens in the new era. The education of the socialist concept of honor and disgrace as a main method of ideological and political education to college students is an important footstone in colleges. Hence the education of the socialist concept of honor and disgrace should be strengthened, and more ways to the education should be found.
