The benefit of the keyboard improvisational play in social musical activities is becoming more and more evident, and keyboard improvisational play has already become one of the indispensable abilities for the professional college graduates majoring in arts. The paper, beginning with improvisational play, analyzes several aspects that students should pay attention to in developing their playing ability, and demonstrates some viewpoints on how to cultivate professional college students majoring in arts to improve their improvisational play skills.
