An outline of the principle and phenomena in electromagnetic radiation and biological effect is given in this article. Some related research and standards, such as the effect of electromagnetic radiation on the organism, the hygienic standard of the related industry and the opportunities of exposing to the electromagnetic radiation environment in daily life, are also presented.
