摘要 大学英语教育应注重培养学生的自主学习能力、发散性思维能力和创新能力,应树立以学生为教育主体、教师为主导的教育理念。本文对目前河南省高校大学英语课堂精读教学模式作以调查和分析,以建构主义教学观为理论依据并针对现存的问题进行英语课堂设计,结合教学实践提出了新的有效的课堂教学模式。旨在更有效地提高英语教学质量。 College English education should centre on cultivating high- quality students with independent learning abilities, diverse thinking abilities and creativities. The educational concept of student- centeredness with teachers serving as guides should be established in college English education. The paper surveys and analyzes the teaching patterns of Intensive Reading of College English now employed unviersities and colleges in Henan Province. Based on the teaching theories of constructivism and aiming at the problems existing in the College English teaching, the paper, with a view to enhance English teaching qualities, presents creative and effective English class teaching patterns in combination with teaching practice.
