林纾与庞德误读和误译的解构主义理据

Decoding Lin Shu's and Pound's Misinterpretation and Mistranslation With the Help of Deconstructionist Theory

"忠实性"始终是跨文化翻译活动中备受关注的焦点,但由于文化的差异性和特质性以及译者的独立主体意识等因素,翻译活动中的误读和误译不可避免。文章以林纾和庞德的误读和误译个案为蓝本,根据解构主义翻译理论,探讨了林纾和庞德误读和误译的客观必然性及其合理性,并指出林纾和庞德误读和误译的积极意义,以期客观、理性地看待违背"忠实性"翻译标准的误译现象。

The notion of “fidelity” is always the focus of cross - cultural translation activities. Misinterpretation and mistranslation are inevitable due to the subjectivity of the translator on the one hand, as well as cultural differences and peculiarities on the other hand. In the light of the deconstructionist translation theory, this paper not only explores the objective necessity and rationality of Lin Shu＇ s and Pound＇ s misinterpretation and mistranslation, but also discusses the significance of their mistranslation. It is hoped that misinterpretation and mistranslation can enjoy an objective and rational understanding.
