通过游离胆汁酸的薄层层析实验，鉴别熊胆、狗胆所含不同的化学成份。此法简单易行。
By means of TLC on free cholic acids, the chemical constituents of bear gall and dog gall can be easily identified. This method can be used satisfactorily to differentiate the adulterant dog gall mixed with bear gall.
