The properties and uses of citric acid are introduced as well as several treatment processes of citric acid wastewater such as anaerobic bacteria method, aerobic bacteria method, anaerobic-aerobic combined bacteria processes and anaerobic-facultative-aerobic combined bacteria process. According to various processes their working principles and technological processes are comparatively analyzed in order to promote the study of treatment method of citric acid wastewater.
