通过对新文化运动中启蒙思想家改造中国国民性思想的分析,认识新文化运动的立足点,并揭示其历史意义,认为启蒙思想家批判陈旧的国民性,呼吁国民思想的更新,力图改变国民性的思想,对于今天中国的现代化建设仍旧有着一定的启迪作用。
