顺应理论对翻译具有解释作用。顺应理论认为,语言的使用要顺应不同的交际对象和环境,要根据不同的说话对象和环境选择具有顺应特点的语言。翻译作为一种跨文化交际活动,译文语言的选择也是作出顺应的动态过程。这种顺应应该根据不同的语境、不同的语言结构发生变化,从而最大限度地满足交际双方的需要。

Adaptation theory can interpret translation. According to adaptation theory, the use of language should adapt to different communication objects and settings while translation as a kind of trans-culture activity, the choice of translation language is a dynamic process of adaptation, the adaptation should vary in terms of different settings and different language structures to maximumly meet the needs of both sides of communication.
