摘要
针对被用作刀具材料的金属粘接AI2O3-TiC系陶瓷的组成特点,采用近火处理的方法可使其强度得到改善。实验结果表明:经800CX3h大气中退大处理后,金属粘接Al2O3-TiC系陶瓷材料的强度提高了10%,硬度也同时提高。扫描电镜和透射电镜的观察与分析表明:该材料强度和硬度的提高是材料表面微氧化机制、内部缺陷钝化机制以及晶界强化机制共同作用的结果。
Based on the component characteristics of metal-bonded Al2O3-TiC ceramic compositefor cutting tools, annealing treatment is applied to strengthen the composite. Thc experiment in-dicates that, after annealing at 8O0'C for three hours in air, the bending strength is increased byten percent compared with that of untreated material, the hardness is improved as well. SEMand TEM observation and analysis show that the increase of strength and hardness results fromsynergistic effect of surface micro-oxidation, defects passivation and boundary strcngtheningmechanisms.
