Therefore, foreign language teaching is becoming increasingly important. As tertiary institutions, how can we cultivate qualified talents？ The thesis first discusses the theoretic development of communicative language teaching, then probes into its advantages and advantages by making a comparison with traditional teaching method, and suggests some ways to improve communicative language teaching.
