摘要
隐喻是语言的一种普遍现象,是语言和文化联系最紧密的部分,它渗透到语言、文化、思维和社会生活的各方面。探讨文化与隐喻的关系,以及通过比较英汉两种语言里的实例,得出由于受不同因素制约,隐喻在使用过程中所体现出的相似性和差异。
Metaphor is a common component of language that is closely linked with culture. It pervades in every aspect of language, culture, thoughts and social life. The present article discusses the relationship between culture and metaphor. Through a comparative analysis of examples between English and Chinese, we can conclude that metaphor some similarities and differences coexist in language use as a result of process different factors.
