通过计算和试验研究了高真空、高背压对自由涡轮增压柴油机性能的影响并找到克服困难的办法．研究改进的试验机具有良好的水下工况性能，其指标在国内处于领先地位，且接近90年代初国际先进商品机的水平．
Based on calculation and experiment, investigation has been made into theefect of high vacuum and high back pressure on the performance of a free turbinesupercharged diesel engine, and solution to overcoming of difficulties has beensearched out. The experimental engine improved through investigation enjoys goodperformance under submerged condition, with its technical indexes taking the 1eadat home and approaching the level of internationally advanced commercial enginesin the early stage of the ninetieth.
