Dictionary Use and its Impact on Incidental Vocabulary Acquisition

本文对有关词典使用研究的现状进行了总结,并详细研究了与本文研究有关的几个细节问题。在此基础上,本文结合一项实证研究,试图探索使用词表与使用单语词典对词汇附带习得的不同影响及其相应对教学的启示。

This paper first presents a review of major dictionary use studies and then it is followed by an illustrative discussion of some issues concemed with the present study. Finally, the results of using the monolingual dictionary and the word-list in terms of incidental vocabulary acquisition are discussed as they have shown in our empirical study.
