On Sustainability and Feasibility of Development Orientation for Higher Vocational Schools in West Side of Taiwan Strait

中国经济的可持续发展与"海西"独特的地理位置,为"海西"高职院校的可持续发展奠定了坚实基础。实现"海西"高职院校的可持续发展,有赖于建立相对完善的法律、法规及政策保障体系,有效解决师资瓶颈约束问题,在管理中引入竞争机制,推行刚性与柔性相结合的人才培养模式和教师聘任制度,并将专业建设和学院发展规划作为战略核心。

The sustainable development of China＇s economy and the unique geographical location have laid solid foundation for the development of higher vocational schools in the west side of Taiwan strait. Achieving the sustainable development of higher vocational schools in west side of Taiwan strait depends on establishing a relatively sound legal and policy support system, effectively addressing the problems of teachers bottleneck, introducing the competition mechanism into management, implementing the personnel training model of combination of flexible with rigid talents cultivation model and teacher appointment system, taking specialty construction and development as the core of strategy.
