Cai Yuanpei＇s aesthetics, as an important part of his ideological education, critically inherited in the reasonable parts of the Chinese traditional culture. His theory mainly absorbed Kant ,Schiller and other advanced western aesthetic thought, and was innovated. His theory was put on the theoretical basis of the practice of the ideology of the integrity of personality and social transformation. The theory has a far- reaching positive impact on the modem education in China.
