为“文化派”一辩——试论《翻译学归结论》的几个误区

A Defense of Culture School——Discussing Some Misconceptions of Translatology Reductionism

翻译学归结论是基于对传统译论和翻译研究"文化派"(即描述翻译学)的批评和反思提出的一种翻译理论。它对"文化派"的批评和怀疑在我国译界很具代表性。《翻译学归结论》一书对"文化派"存在一些误解。本文认为,"文化派"的研究是描述研究而非规范研究,是翻译学不可或缺的一部分。

Translatology Reductionism is put forward on the basis of the criticism of traditional theory and contemporary ones held by ＂Culture School＂, namely Descriptive Translation Studies. The criticism and doubts （ on） ＂Culture School＂ are quite typical in the circle of Translation Studies. Through an exploration of the structure and the research objects of Translation Studies, a young humane and social science, the paper has pointed out some misconceptions held by Translatology Reductionism. The author further holds that the study pursued by Culture School, is one of the indispensable parts of the disciplinc Translation Studies. Hopefully, this clarification will facilitate the successful construction and healthy development of the new discipline.
