学术话语中多模式投射“隐喻式”

An Approach to the Metaphorical Modes of "Projection" in Academic Discourse

投射语言是学术话语中的重要部分,已受到越来越多学者的注意。目前功能语言学对学术话语中投射语言的多种"隐喻式"的功能意义机制未有过专门研究。因此,本文基于功能语言学的语法隐喻理论和多模式话语的社会符号学,试图探讨学术话语中投射语言的多模式"隐喻式"的体现方式及功能意义。通过分析,我们认为,学术话语中投射语言在很多情况下是以投射"隐喻式"体现其特定的概念意义,人际意义与语篇意义;可以说,语法隐喻理论和多模式话语的社会符号学的分析原则和方法能够比较合理而有效地解释学术话语中投射语言"隐喻式"的类型及其复杂而又丰富的体现形式。

The paper, based on the theory of grammatical metaphor and multimodal discourse analysis in Systemic-Functional Linguistics （SFL）, discusses some metaphorical modes of ＂projection＂ in academic discourse. ＂Projection＂ is an essential feature of academic discourse, the function of which, however, has not been fully explored and explained in SFL. By applying the principles of grammatical metaphor and multimodal discourse analysis in SFL to the analysis of some ＂projection＂ structures in academic discourse, we find that the principles can help to provide further explanations as to what syntactic and semantic features of these metaphorical modes of ＂projection＂ are used to achieve certain effect in academic discourse.
