摘要 课题"大学英语四、六级考试对我国大学英语教学的反拨效应实证研究"全面深入地探讨了大学英语四、六级考试与我国大学英语教学的关系。本文为该项研究的成果之一,回答的问题是:大学英语课堂教学有些什么特征?大学英语四、六级考试对其有何影响?本文根据对3所样本学校的38位大学英语教师课堂教学的观察,结果表明:大学英语课堂教学总体上是以教师为主导,而非以学生为中心,其特征因校、年级和教师而异。四、六级考试对大学英语教学的许多方面都有影响,但影响的程度,也因校、年级和教师而异。 The project "An empirical study of CET washback on college English teaching and learning in China" has explored the relationship between the CET and college English teaching and learning. The present paper is a part of the research. It answers two questions: What characterizes college English classroom teaching and learning? What kind of washback does the CET exert on them? Based on the results of classroom observation in 38 college English teachers' classrooms, the research findings show that college English classroom teaching is mainly teacher-dominated rather than student-centered. It varies from university to university, from grade to grade and from teacher to teacher. The CET exerts effect on various aspects of college English classroom teaching, but the effect is different in degree and varies from university to university, from grade to grade and from teacher to teacher as well.
