OPAC(联机公共检索目录)是图书馆为读者提供书目情报服务的重要内容之一。读者利用OPAC检索时常用的检索途径有题名、责任者和主题词。阐述了图书馆在编目时如何做好常用检索点的著录,从而提高读者利用OPAC时的检索效率,提高文献的检全率和检准率。

OPAC is one of the important ways, which can supply the service on the bibliographic information for the readers of the library. Title, author and key words are the common points for readers to search when they use OPAC. This paper puts forth how to catalogue the common use search points in the description so as to improve the search efficiency and to incre,ase the recall ratio and the precision ratio.
