从ACT认知模式理论看外语测试中的若干问题

On Cognitive Theory of ACT and Its Implication for EFL Testing

摘要 ACT认知模式对人脑如何组织和归纳输入的语言信息以及如何对它们进行合理的推断和预测等一系列问题提供了极有启发意义的理论依据。测试是外语教学和学习中的重要一环,是检查教学质量的重要形式。本文在对ACT模式理论精髓作深入剖析的基础上,就外语测试内容、测试方式、试题提示语以及测试策略等问题进行探讨,以期对中学外语教学产生积极的促进作用。 Anderson's cognitive theory of ACT contributes quite a lot to the implicational theory as how the language input is organized and induced and how to make a reasonable hypothesis and prediction thereby. As language testing is important to language teaching as well as learning, on the basis of cognitive theory of ACT, the paper attempts to make a tentative discussion on contents, forms, aims of English as a foreign language (EFL) testing and test-taking strategies for the purpose of facilitating EFL teaching in high schools.
