Summarizing the Studies of Outward Direct Investment on Its Incentives and Effects

对外直接投资的动因和效应,一直是国内外研究的重点。国外学术界用不同的理论对发达国家和发展中国家对外直接投资的动因和机制进行了解释,并且基于不同国家的数据对ODI对母国的出口效应、技术效应和产业结构效应进行了实证研究,研究成果极为丰富。我国学者在对外直接投资的动因和效应方面也进行了有意义的研究。但国内外现有的理论研究和实证研究都还存在一些不足,对我国ODI发展的借鉴作用也具有一定的局限性。

The incentives and effects of outward direct investment （0DI） are always the emphases in domestic and foreign studies. Foreign academia puts forward different theories to explain the motivations and mechanisms of the ODI in developed and developing countries. Besides, they use data to investigate the export, technology and industrial structure effects of ODI on the home countries and harvest in abundant research fruits. Chinese scholars also carry out significant studies on the incentives and effects of ODI. However, there are some deficiencies in the existing domestic and foreign theoretical and positive studies, which provide limited reference for the development of Chinese ODI.
