研究了转基因抗虫棉新品系93－25的抗虫特性及农艺表现。连续4年系统考察表明，在网室、田间、大田生产条件下，93－25对棉铃虫的抗性较强而稳定，农艺性状综合表现良好。在正常、减少或2代不防治时，其抗虫性、农艺性状及产量表现明显优于供试的生产推广种及形态、生化、基因等抗虫材料。在坚持综合防治、减少2－3次治虫条件下，较供试品种增产15％以上。是当前综合表现较好、实用价值较高的抗虫材料。
