摘要
翻译与词典(特别是双语词典)的关系是十分密切的,大凡从事翻译的人都离不开词典,但如何正确有效地使用词典还是一个有待研究的问题。本文以认知语义学为基础,通过对翻译认知过程的实证分析,探讨了词典在翻译的语言理解和生成阶段中的作用,阐述了词典使用的技巧和方法。
Translation is closely related to dictionaries （especially bilingual ones） and translators can＇t work without them. But how to use dictionaries correctly and effectively awaits further investigation. Based on cognitive semantics and through an empirical analysis of the cognitive translation process, the present essay discusses the role of dictionaries in language comprehension and production in translation and introduces some methods and skills of dictionary use.
