This paper states the significance and objective of applying motivation methods in bilingual teaching of IT major courses. Five motivation methods are discussed and supplied by teaching practices ： awarding motivation under English circumstances, individual and team competition motivation, west culture＇s recognition motivation, career--oriented and role model motivation, interest motivation in teaching contents and methods.
