摘要 本文发现,新星是长江大洪水的一个重要根源。这项发现建立在三方面的基础上。第一,它通过了置信水平为99.9%的数理统计检验。第二,长江近400年来最大的二次洪水以及本世纪来的前十位大洪水都是出现在新星爆发之后,长江历史大洪水的实际情况与本发现相符。第三,根据本发现,我们成功地预报了1996年的长江大洪水。实践为本发现提供了一次令人信服的验证。文章分析了新星爆发后作用到地球的各种辐射,并提出了我们的见解。本发现是人类千百年来对大洪水根源不懈探索的重要突破。 Large floods brought innumerable times of severe disasters to mankind.From ancient times till now people always questioned a problem that what caused large floods?The paper obtains an important discovery that the relationship between novae and floods of the Yangtze river deserves close attention.The correlation coefficient between the nova's maximum apparent magnitudes brighter than 3.6 and the maximum sixty day flood volumes within five years after nova's outburst at the Yichang hydrologic station of the Yangtze river is as high as 0.8862.The correlation is highly significant and reaches a confidence level of 99 9%.The strict statistical test shows that a nova may well be one of the root causes of floods of the Yangtze river.
