摘要
《梦溪笔谈》是现存沈括最重要的一部著作。该文通过对此书中一段有关石油描述的诠释，探讨并揭示了沈括研究石油的时间、地点、动机以及他利用石油烟制墨的情况。
Meng Xi Bi Tan ( Dream Stream Essays ) is Shen Kuo's most important ex- tant work . Through explaining a paragraph of description about petroleum in it , this paper discusses and receals the time , place and reason for Shen Kuo to study petroleum , aswell as the circumstances under which he used petroleum smoke to produce ink.
