摘要
六西格玛质量管理法(以下简称六西格玛法)是20世纪80年代美国摩托罗拉公司首先倡导的质量管理方法。现在,摩托罗拉、通用电气、西门子、微软、英特尔、三星、本田、索尼、福特、沃尔沃和卡特彼勒等全球知名企业和发达国家的一批中小企业先后推广应用了六西格玛法,并取得成效。如摩托罗拉通过实施六西格玛法,生产效率在10年内提高了100倍,由一个因产品质量差而濒临破产的企业跃升为以优质著称的跨国企业。卡特彼勒运用六西格玛法提高了产品质量、降低了成本,自2001年以来,实施六西格玛项目35000个,仅2005年就节约资金6亿美元。理论和实践都证明,六西格玛法在工程机械行业有广阔的应用前景,是全面提升工程机械产品质量和企业竞争力的有利措施之一。
Six Sigma was first put forward by Motorola Inc.in 1980s,after that,many companies such as Motorola,GE,Siemens,Microsoft, Intel,SAMSUNG,HONDA,SONY,Ford, Volvo,Caterpillar etc.also adopted it and saw the satisfying returns.For example,in Motorola,the produce efficiency enhanced 100 times in 10 years because of Six Sigma and so does in Caterpillar,they had a successful experience in saving the costs and enhancing the product quality through the method from 2001,the costs decreased $6 million just in 2005.So,Six Sigma will have a bright future in construction machinery industry,and is also one of the best method to advance the product quality and company competition.
