This paper introduces in details the type, technical specifications and applications of self thermal conservation expanded clay concrete block. The differences in performance and cost between this material and other outside wall thermal conservation systems are also analyzed. It is revealed that the self thermal conservation block wall is excellent in technical and thermal properties, easy to use and low cost. Such a wall material is very suitable for application in regions where it is hot in summer and warm in winter.
