摘要 介绍了自适应差分脉冲编码调制技术ADPCM的编解码原理和结构,利用硬件描述语言设计并仿真了IMA-ADPCM编解码器及相关电路,以完成语音的录放功能。通过优化编解码器的电路结构,使系统资源消耗减小了1/3。实验平台以Altera的FPGA开发板为基础,实现了语音的录放,语音回放效果达到预期目标。 In this paper, the principle and architecture of the encoder and the decoder of Adaptive Differential Pulse Code Modulation(ADPCM) are introduced. Then, the VLSI implementation of IMA-ADPCM encoder/decoder and related circuits is proposed with Verilog HDL dedicatedly for voice record/playback application. The result and explanation are presented after simulation. Based on our working, resource consumption is reduced 1/3 by optimizing the structure of the encoder and decoder. Finally, a simulation platform is established on the foundation of Ahera's UP3 education kit. The function of voice record/playback is realized and the performance gains our ends.
