Symbol Segmentation and Recognition in Online Handwritten Formulas

摘要 提出了联机手写字符切分算法。通过基于规则的笔划合并和笔划块切分将笔划合并成字符块,在此基础上,采用动态规划算法,利用字符块的间距、外接框重叠信息、笔划复杂度以及字符识别信息,寻找出最优的切分路径。实验证明,算法对于一维简单数学公式和二维复杂数学公式的切分都有着比较好的效果。 The arithmetic is concerned with the first processing stage of the online formula recognition system: the symbol segmentation and recognition task in the context of the formulas. It uses additional knowledge to merge the stroke into blocks and applies dynamic programming to find the best segmentation path. The recognition results obtained by different writers demonstrate that the performance of the approach is relatively good.
