从大学职能看科学教育与人文教育的融合

Integration of Science Education and Humanities Education in View of College Functions

20世纪以来,世界高教理论界形成了包括人才培养(教学)、科学研究和社会服务三项大学职能的共识。本文仅从现代大学具备的三大职能的角度来具体分析大学教育中科学教育与人文教育融合的问题。首先,培养全面发展的人才需要科学教育与人文教育的融合;其次,创新性的科学研究需要科学教育与人文教育的融合;最后,为社会服务、促进社会繁荣需要科学教育与人文教育的融合。

Since the 20th century, the scholars of higher education in the world have reached a consensus on university functions which includes the three aspects of teaching, scientific research, and social services. This paper specifically analyzes the issue of integrating science education and humanity education from the perspective of three functions that modem university must have, and comes to a conclusion that the integration of science education and humanity education is essential to training the talent with comprehensive development, innovative scientific research, and serving the society and promoting social prosperity.
