Approach to the Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine in a New View

从“理论模型”的角度看中医理论,中医理论是在我国古代生产力尚不发达的历史条件下,采用建立“天人合一理论模型”来研究和解释人与自然关系及人体生理病理的特殊方法,从而建立起中医理论的宏伟大厦。这就决定了中医理论整体性、辩证性、主观性和模糊性并存的特点。中医理论的历史局限性为我们继承和发展中医理论提出了新的课题。

In view of a ＂theoretical model＂, the theory of traditional Chinese medicine （TOM） is considered to be created in a historical social condition with low productivity. It is a unique methodology based on the theoretical model, unity of human being and universe, to study and explain the relation between human being and the nature, the physiological functions and the pathological changes. This historical background of TOM theory destined its characteristics of holistic, dialectical, subjectivity and fuzzification, which, at the same time, brings forward many new subjects for its inheritance and development in now a day.
