摘要 随着信息时代的到来,人们对光通信带宽的需求日益增加,波分复用技术(WDM:Wavelength-Division Multiplexing)以其巨大带宽和传输数据的透明性成为当今光纤应用领域的首选技术。密集波分复用(DWDM:Dense WDM)技术具有大容量、数据透明传输、升级扩容方便、灵活等特点,成为长途骨干传输网和核心城域网的首选技术。随着宽带城域网(BMAN)成为信息化建设的热点,粗波分复用(CWDM:Coarse WDM)技术应运而生,并以低成本、拓扑灵活、接入业务类型多、短距传输等特点成为城域及边缘接入层的一种低成本解决方案。 With the arrival of the information age, people's demand on bandwidth optical communication is ever increasing. WDM (wavelength-division multiplexing), with its immense bandwidth and transparency of data transmission, is becoming a preferred technology in the field of fiber applications today. Meanwhile, DWDM (dense wavelength-division multiplexing), with its advantages of large capacity, transparency of data transmission, convenience of expansion and upgrading, and flexibility etc, is becoming a preferred technology for long distance backbone transmission network and inter-city core network. With BMAN becoming a hot spot in the information construction, CWDM (Coarse Wavelength-Division Multiplexing) emerged and is becoming a good solution in the inter-city & edge access layer areas due to its low cost, flexible topology, multiple businesses accesses and short transmission, etc.
