Tourism in the Tibetan regions is closely related to Tibetan Buddhism. Tibetan Buddhism which has long been a major belief for the locals poses its profound influence in the Tibetan people＇s activities, in the formation and protection of the tourist resources in the Tibetan regions and plays a vital part in pushing forward the development of tourist economy of the Tibetan regions.
