Evaluation of container port's competitiveness based on market segmentation

在阐述目前集装箱港口竞争力评价指标体系和评价方法研究现状和应用时存在的问题的基础上,提出基于市场划分的集装箱港口竞争力评价模型,并以位于东亚和东南亚的26个主要集装箱港口为评价对象进行实证分析,结果表明该模型简便易行,易于对港口进行动态评价。

The paper analyzed the current research status of port competitiveness evaluation indicators system and the choice of port competitiveness evaluation methods. For the insufficiencies in the port competitiveness evaluation researches, marketing segmentation theory was applied to establish a container port＇s competitiveness evaluating model. Then it was used to evaluate the competitiveness between the 26 main container ports in East and Southeast Asia. The model was proved to be simple and could be used to make dynamic evaluation.
