摘要
公共英语在我国高等教育中起着举足轻重的作用。纵观我国英语教育的发展史,国家一直试图推行交际教学法,但因为我国传统的英语教育结构和体制的问题而未能成功。为了提高学生英语的综合应用能力,提出从教育体制和教学方法两方面进行公共英语教学改革,并具体分析了我院作为农业院校应如何在英语教学改革的基础上搞好英语教学。
Public English Course plays a key role in China＇s higher education. Looking at the history of English Teaching in China, our country has been trying to carry out Communicative Language Teaching. But the attempt has been proved to be failed because the matter of traditional English teaching structure and the system in China. In order to improve students＇ comprehensive ability, it is suggested the reform of public English teaching begins from the change of teaching system and English teaching method, and it is analyzed the measures contributing to public English teaching in Tianjin Agricultural University.
