Different Nation’s Adjustments in Strategies for the Scientific and Technological Policies and Their Common Points at the Turn of the Century

在世纪相交之际，世界各国都着眼于２１世纪，纷纷对科技政策进行了战略性调整，竞相推出“科技立国”战略。

Abstract This paper elaborates on the positions of different nations at the turn of the century with regard to their policies for the development of science and technology. According to the author,they all aim at the twenty first century,make strategic adjustments in their policies,and put on postures of developing the nation via science and technology. Eight common points are discussed in detail.
