语用迁移是跨文化交际中的常见现象。相比较语用语言迁移而言,社会语用迁移是跨文化交际的最大障碍。它主要表现在文化背景、价值取向、社会语言规则等方面。为避免社会语用迁移的发生,外语学习者应努力探寻目的语中深刻的文化内涵,掌握目的语独特的语用规则。

Pragmatic transfer is a common phenomenon in cross-cultural communication. Owing to the lack of language knowledge or cultural background of the target language, foreign language learners tend to apply the pragmatic rules and cultural standard of their native language to the target language, which will unavoidably lead to the failure in communication. To avoid pragmatic transfer, foreign language learners should have some insight into the culture of the target language and have some knowledge of the pragmatic rules of the target language as well.
